Cupping

What is cupping?

Cupping is a TCM therapy in which plastic cups are used to apply suction and heat to meridian points or muscle fibres on the body.

How does it work?

Cupping practitioners usually place cups on a person's back, shoulders, neck or other muscle areas.  The pressure that the cups create draws blood to the affected area, increasing your blood flow overall, that increased blood flow can relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation.

For those who had very poor health condition, they will have blisters after cupping and that is the normal symptoms. Please let the practitioner know if it is ok to perform the treatment?
